Ear-Pain

Homeopathic Treatment

Check if most symptoms of any of these medicines match with most of your symptoms:

Belladonna 30 : Sudden throbbing pain, especially in the right ear, that is so acute as to drive the victim crazy. Not only the affected ear but the whole face becomes red and hot. Hearing becomes abnormally acute. The ear is so sensitive that the victim does not allow anybody to touch it.

Chamomilla 30 : Severe pain and ringing in the ear driving the victim frantic. The affected ear feels numb and stopped. The patient, usually a child, constantly cries from pain and becomes quiet only when carried in an arm; warm applications worsen pain.

Hepar sulph 30 : Throbbing pain in the ear, with discharge of offensive pus and deafness. Oversensitiveness, a desire for warm clothing and profuse foul/sour smelling perspiration are other features of this medicine. Warm applications to the affected ear are soothing.

Merc sol 30 : Severe pain in the ear, especially in the evening and at night, with thick, foetid, yellowish or bloody discharge. Pain is worse from warmth. A trembling body, constant profuse perspiration and intense thirst for large quantities of cold water are other pointers to this remedy.

Notes:

If the pain does not subside even after taking ten doses of the medicine, discontinue and consult a competent ENT doctor.
