It is found in the hemoglobin which is a protein inside red blood cells that helps move oxygen out of the lungs so that it can be carried to the body parts that require it.

Deficiency Symptoms of Iron

Some pepole understand that iron deficiency is due to iron deficiency, but it is not usually caused by a lack of iron in the diet alone; an underlying cause, such as iron loss in menstrual blood, often exists. Pregnant women, marathon runners, people who take aspirin and those who have parasitic infections, hemorrhoids, ulcers, gastrointestinal cancers, or other conditions that cause blood loss are likely to become deficient.

Due to deficiency of iron our body going to be weak because it reduse the blood in the body. Other people at risk of iron deficiency include dieters, vegetarians and athletes.

Iron is an essential mineral in humans and is very necessary for the overall growth of body. The dosage of iron to body in a day is as follows:
  • Adults should have to taken 10 to 15 mcg.
  • Children should have to taken 10 mcg.

Some of the natural foods which contain iron are Liver, round steak, hamburger, baked beans, pork, white beans, soy beans, pork and beans, lima beans, chicken, iron-fortified cereals, oatmeal, bagel, English muffin, rye bread, whole wheat bread, dried apricots, prunes, raisins, plums, spinach, peas, asparagus, Brewer's yeast, kelp squash, seeds, blackstrap molasses, and wheat bran.
